Tell us a little bit about Birra Weddings & Events and how it came to be?
Birra Weddings & Events opened up in October 2019. The name Birra is actually Italian for Beer (my last name, so it was a way to honor my family).
What is your company’s mission?
When clients book with Birra Weddings & Events, they can be ensured that we will ease the stress of planning your event, allowing the client to enjoy their day. We are here to help you plan the event the client has been waiting for!
Wedding Planning is usually 5-10% of a couple’s wedding budget, how do you work with clients on the cost of your services?
I work with my clients from the start to find out what means the most to them. I have them create lists about what they want at their wedding and another list stating what they do not want. This helps me to narrow down what means the most, which helps me to craft their budget in a way that makes sense.
What should a client bring to you before booking or hiring you? Is there anything they need to already have in mind when it comes to Birra Weddings & Events?
They don’t need to bring anything with them before booking unless they want to! Once they have hired me, I just need any venue or vendor contracts that they have already signed.
What are some wedding trends or ceremony trends you are seeing in your industry?
I have been seeing a lot of mini desserts and late-night snacks of Whataburger!
What services/packages do you offer? What all is included??
I offer “Month of Coordination” up to “Full Planning”, as well as “Wedding Design.” All packages are fully customizable to fit the client. Each one includes a general checklist, a detailed wedding day itinerary, unlimited email access to me, and a stress-free environment.
What is your process once a client hires you? How do you communicate work together?
Once a client has booked with me (by signing their contract and sending their deposit in), I send over a little questionnaire to get to know them better. Once completed, we schedule a New Client meeting so we can start diving into their wedding and go through my customer relationship management software so everyone is on the same page. All of my clients have unlimited email access to me, so they can ask any question they have! Within 6 months of their wedding, they also have unlimited phone calls with me (by scheduling their calls through my calendar).
What has been your most favorite wedding experience and why did it stand out?
My favorite wedding experience so far has been when a bride rode in on a horse to the end of the aisle. She, then, walked down the aisle with her Father. This stood out to me because it was so uniquely her! She had been riding horses since she was a little girl.
